THE WELL-COME CENTRE FOR HUMAN POTENTIAL
The Centre provides community education and support organization for low income women and their children. They have an 11 bed shelter for homeless women,offer a variety of educational and support programs, a food cooperative program, an emergency food bank, life skills workshops and credit and debt counselling.
As a social worker I feel that women's shelters are very neglected in terms of funding.
All the more reason to come out to SMASH THE GLASS this year! Your money is going towards great causes!
