ZINE SUBMISSIONS!

We are currently looking for feminist writers to contribute a lil somethin somethin to the zine we are creating for Smash the Glass. It will include an overview of the festival for both days, and writings from women in or around the community.

If you or know of anyone that would be interested in submitting something COMMENT or email me at smashglass@live.com. There is no restriction on topic, as long as it is feminist related.

The submissions, if it is a writing piece, must be no more than a page and a half long. Try to get your submissions to me by early next week. Wednesday the latest pls.

I'm thinking about creating my own fem zine, I might start with highlighting women in windsor/detroit music scene. But who knows!

CHANGES!

Unfortunetly due to personal matters THIS IS ME AS A WOMAN is no longer to play Smash the Glass this year! It's okay! We were lucky to have Kim serenade us during the International Women's Day Jam (which by the way was a HUGE success, it is so nice to see the citizens of Windsor coming together to celebrate women, and their pockets are even more generous ;). We managed to raise over 200$ for the Well-Come Centre. I know many ladies that will be very happy with our donation this year).

I know I'm a little late on this BUT it's because I've been away! And I didn't find out until recently! Sorry Tom!

I'm so proud to announce that The Phog Lounge has been crowned the honour of BEST LIVE VENUE in CANADA THANKS TO CBC RADIO 3.

Tom Lucier co-owner of Phog has been such a great supporter not only of mine but many creative minds in Windsor, letting us use his place to make things happen in Windsor.

Smash the Glass was a tremendous success last year at Phog and I am so thrilled to be starting out the festival there again.

Thanks a lot Phog, you deserved this win out of anyone.
